The challenge
AUSIR is the single authority governing the integrated water service and waste management for the whole Friuli Venezia Giulia region. This project covers a specific, highly complex area: managing the Conferenza di Servizi (Italy's inter-agency decision-making procedure), with all the logic and timelines imposed by law. Previously, these processes were tracked on spreadsheets, with no structured control.
A tailored approach
We worked closely with the AUSIR team to understand the nuances of the regulations and translate them into operating procedures. The result is a custom vertical system that maps the Conferenza di Servizi step by step and makes it repeatable, controlled and compliant.
The solution
The system manages service workstreams, the records of the bodies and parties involved, and an internal notification system that guides the team through each stage: for every conference it shows what to do and when, respecting the legal deadlines case by case. An automated, scheduled control built on the authority's internal best practices as well as on its legal obligations.
Data ownership and sovereignty
For a public body, data ownership isn't optional: the law requires being able to change supplier after a set period. The system is designed so that AUSIR keeps full ownership of its data and project, with no lock-in whatsoever — a requirement before it is a value.
The results
Today AUSIR no longer manages the Conferenza di Servizi on spreadsheets, but with an automated, scheduled control system extended across the whole Friuli Venezia Giulia region. More order, better-kept deadlines, full traceability.
Could your authority use a system like this?
We digitise complex, regulated procedures while keeping full public ownership of the data. Let's talk.
